- Her professional practice initiated in the General Direction of Protocol and Ceremony of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cult as Chief of the Department of Privileges and Immunities and assisting the General Director in different matters of International Diplomatic Law.
- Currently her professional interest is focused in Intellectual Property in general. Her practice includes trademark and patent prosecution, assisting local and foreign Clients in trademark and patent conflicts, IP enforcement and the coordination of the corresponding investigations in these areas.
- She also assists local and foreign companies in the corporate and commercial matters in Costa Rica.
Professional Activities:
- Member since its foundation of the local association of Intellectual Property Professionals, “Asociación de Profesionales en Propiedad Intelectual de Costa Rica, APPICR”. Currently is an officer of this Association’s Board of Directors.
- She has participated and assisted in the drafting of several important bills of laws in the area of Intellectual Property in order for Costa Rica to comply with its compromises with the World Trade Organization and CAFTA Agreement.
